Hi, I’m Rebecca.Graphic Designer, Creative Director and Consultant, lover of books & iced oat milk lattes, creator & owner of Ghost Dog Creative.
I studied English at the University of Missouri, dreaming of becoming a novelist, poet laureate, or famous songwriter. Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with graphic design — a hobby that turned into a full-blown creative obsession. About five years ago, I landed a killer job at a printing company designing screen-printed artwork for cosmetic bottles, cleaning products, and more. From there, I started creating custom labels, brand visuals, ads, and social content for everything we produced.
Eventually, I realized I didn’t need to write the next great novel to tell good stories — I could do it through design. (And I know what you’re thinking, English majors are famously rolling in cash, but what can I say? The heart wants what it wants.) So I listened to that little voice inside — and the one belonging to my partner, Dan — and launched Ghost Dog Creative from my living room.
My English degree turned out to be my secret design weapon: I don’t just make things look good, I make sure they say the right thing, too. I’m endlessly inspired by bold ideas, messy sketchbooks, long walks with my dogs, late-night brainstorms, and road trips with Dan with no real plan.
While I specialize in branding and print design, my biggest passion is music — I love collaborating with musicians and artists. My work draws from vintage ephemera, old European menus, folklore, and anything that feels a little haunted (in the best way): layered, expressive, and unforgettable. Whether we’re building a brand from scratch or creating a tour poster, I bring intuition, heart, and a little weird magic to every project.
